Betrayal booting

Instead of fixing things that are fine, like bloom, maybe you should spend some time fixing your betrayal system. I threw a grenade at a fully loaded enemy warthog right at the beginning of the game. Actually it was two grenades. That’s a pretty standard tactic from what I’ve seen. A teammate of mine, well his guest, charges at the warthog. My grenades blow up and kill him. HE boots me. I did nothing wrong. I played the game and got punished for it. THAT needs to be fixed. People are going to be dumb and you have to either stop letting them play or make the system smarter then them. That shouldn’t be too hard to do.

Perhaps the system should keep track of damage done to friendlies and once you get three kills worth of accumulative damage you are automatically kicked from the game. No option from any player, you are gone. A message will pop up saying, “You did too much damage to friendlies. Check your line of fire.” If this happens two games within a 24 hour period, you are banned from matchmaking for a day. If you receive three of these in a month, you can no longer be the host of a game.

I agree. Tired of this game wasting my time because my teammates are too stupid to know not to charge into a grenade.

i hate the fact that everybody just hits X when the prompt shows up

they don’t care if it was a Plain accedent or if is was on porpose, and they don’t care either if they loose a good teammate, let alone a a standard teammate

i’m leinient with boots, i only boot if i know it was on porpose, but now i’m not sure people are affected by good choices

I’ve had had people tell me they just hit X when they see prompt. I never betray on purpose. I play that game how you’re supposed to.

The TU was the most important thing. Good players don’t make preventable mistakes. It’s your fault you got booted. Maybe get a team since you go into matchmaking by yourself, which is just asking for a bad time. Then again, if you’re playing Reach then I don’t care.

I fail to see how throwing a grenade at an enemy makes this my fault. Maybe you could explain that to me. And sure I could get a team of eight to play, but some of us have lives. More correctly are in college. Not a lot of time to devote to games. I’m glad you can though.

Lol What? A team of 4! Who runs eights? Have lives? Dude, it’s called an effing friends list. If it seriously takes you that much effort to try and use it to the point it’s having no life, maybe you should not be in college. lololol. I’m in college. Most of the pros are in college. Nice try, Mr. Rage.

How is it preventable when the teammate runs into the grenades like a moron, even if it could display a flashing neon sign saying DON’T STEP HERE and they still do it? Sorry dude, “skill” doesn’t prevent idiocy.

Me too, get lots of teammates running into grenades, or even running repeatedly into enemy shotguns. I always check if kills are accidental. Normally they are deliberate to get power weapons off me (which I am better at using than them, but still), and those are the only times I boot! If its clearly an accident, then I generally forgive and forget

And I report to Xbox live any who deliberately betray me fr power weapons
