Betrayal and Booting

Ever been instantly booted for an accidental betrayal? Yeah, me too… uh… plenty of times… YES THEY WERE ACCIDENTS SHUT UP

…well most of them were.

Anyways, to fix this I would like to see 343i have the booting system make the player wait 3 or 5 seconds before being able to boot his/her teammate, giving the teammate a chance to apologize and tell him what happened. Yay or nay?

Also, I think the player should not be able to boot his teammate if he is betrayed by an explosive whilst being within a certain range of an enemy. (i.e. getting betrayed by a rocket because you’re an idiot rushing into the enemy base and holding hands with them while your team is demolishing them with explosives.)

A better way would be have a killcam similar to CoD (Yes I said CoD) showing the betrayal happening, so the person who dies can see his/her death and determine whether it was an accident or if it was on purpose.

That might be the best idea I’ve heard all week.

This will all depend on what sorta person you accidently betrayed. Most players seem to relish the ability to boot you the minute it happens whether it was an accident or not. I always thought players should get one veto option per game. You get screen asking you was this a accident and after five or six games of you constantly using this you get a Accident Prone medal that warns other player’s you’re a doof.
