You won’t get a beta code unless they invite you to the Steam flights, otherwise it’s as simple as downloading the entire game through the Microsoft Store flights instead.
Same with Xbox, if you get invited to those.
The latest Halo Infinite blog confirms that Halo Insider Flighting will be taking place later this Summer.
There isn’t going to be a public beta or anything as of yet. All going to be through the Halo Insider Program.
This summer. I guess July + August?

From what I gathered reading Uny’s tweets I’m not sure if everyone is guaranteed to get in, but signing up is your only chance.

The idea of Flighting is that 343i can gather information and performance tracking on a variety of hardware. This includes all the supported Xbox Consoles & PC’s.
Having a variety of applicants using different hardware allows 343i to get a good idea of how the game runs for people who are using different setups.
In short, it is very likely - I would say almost 100% certain that Xbox’s of all varieties will be included in the flight.

It’s Halo. There’s absolutely no chance it won’t be on Xbox. 100% yes, beta will be on Xbox
