Beta screen flickering

When ever match making takes too long my screen starts flickering pretty bad. It’s just in the game if I back out to the dash it’s fine. Anyone else having this issue?

I have the same problem. Can’t join any matches. The screen starts flickering and I get a Error Message about being unable to join.

Same problem. What is everyone’s network setup here?

Same problem here. This is straight up infuriating. I can’t join a single match and i’ve tried everything.

Just restart your console, happened to me and this sorted it.

Tried that plenty of times, to no avail.

It seems to only flicker if you are not going to join. Took 8 tries finally got in. Not a network issue on our side at least.
Hey 343 where can a guy post some video on how it is not working so you can see for yourselves?

I already did.

Yup same problem here just a flashing screen then the request to join has timed out

Samething happening to me. When searching screen flickers and tells me that I was unable to join. Haven’t even played one game.

SCREEN FLICKER - UNABLE TO JOIN SOLUTION

After restarting the beta, my xbox, and redownloading the beta, etc… I was still experiencing the screen flicker and unable to join error. I then began playing around with my network and discovered a temporary solution to the flickering screen, flashing screen, and/or unable to join error.

1. Turn off Xbox One entirely, unplug from back of Xbox to be sure.
2. Unplug your cable modem and your router.
3. Wait 15-30 seconds then plug in the modem first, router second, and once your internet is active fire up the Xbox One.
4. Go to Halo 5 Guardians Beta and join matchmaking.

NOTE: I have a dedicated IP address for the Xbox with all appropriate ports open, NAT is OPEN. Additionally this solution does not fix the problem indefinitely, it will only work for one session until you back out of matchmaking or quit the beta, in order to rejoin matchmaking you will have to follow the steps above again.

Hopefully the devs see this thread and fix!
