To anyone who remembers the Halo Reach beta. The Invasion playlist in that was so much better, mainly the other colours you could be other than red or blue made it special, but also because of only playing on the classic Spire and Boneyards. Do you think we could make a quick petition for them to change it back maybe? Or just have a settings to change those colours…(Kind of like in Halo Wars) I think it made it a little more special.

Anyways, forge maps add a little flavor to the game, and can be fun. I love both Boneyard and Spire, but the same map over and over again… ugh.
343 won’t even add new maps in or updates, they just get rid of our playlists. Sadly, I don’t think we’ll see any updates of any kind to Reach ever.
I thought I didn’t like boneyard and spire over and over until they introduced the forge maps. They can be fun, but those two are just classic. I’ve played at least 500 games on each of those maps.
You probably dont remember this but spartans also used to spawn with DMRs too. And the game then became horribly imbalanced. Also there was only one round. If the elites were skimmed it was game over not a new round.
I don’t mean to be discouraging but 343 doesn’t give a crap about Reach now a petition will be useless, especially one that asks them to revert the game back to a beta version. They haven’t touched this game since Halo 4 launched, they seemed to have pretty much washed their hands of this game.

Yeah I remember lobbying for this back on bnet. If it didn’t happen in 2010 or anywhere in Reach’s lifecycle then it is probably not going to happen now.
