The Halo Wars 2 Blitz Beta is live and will be running until January 30! Multiplayer only… Ugh. Why does the “Firefight” option have to be disabled? Can’t people get a chance to get used to things before getting thrown in against other players?
Also… why is the shop disabled? How are people supposed to test all the cards if they can’t get any more cards past the tutorial pack and the 3 starter packs?

Anyone able to help me out, trying to find the beta on the store for windows 10, searching Halo wars 2 just brings up all the pre order variations you can do… Is it located somewhere else in the store?

How about completing the challenges instead of expecting a beta to be pay to win

Erm…I’m not asking for real money transactions to be implemented right now… Just some way to get cards other than exclusively challenges.

Challenges are easy. You just have to play. So far I’ve played 4 matches and won 4 games - one of them I had to play against two other players on my own lol. Such a rush to actually win xD I know that was off topic, but I just felt really good about that win haha.
Anyway - back on topic; the challenges require you only to play said leaders and you get a blitz pack and XP for completing them. Once you level you get a blitz pack too. It’s just normal blitz packs mind you, with guranteed uncommon and up only, but whatever. I got Jerome-92. Games quite fun; i’d recommend just playing and not worrying about winning or loosing.
Personally, I prefer playing PvE. I get way to competitive in PvP and I stress myself up. Don’t know why, can’t help it, and it makes me enjoy the games a bit less. So obviously, when firefight hits, that’s what I’m going to be playing. I’m personally hoping they will add Firefight to the beta down the road. Maybe for the last 3 days of beta or something. Who knows.

You need to level up and complete challenges to get packs

It should be in there. I still have the original beta installed, so it just updated and ran for me.

Well I didn’t have the original beta still installed or the loot crate thing, but I was still able to get it, so I think it works for everyone.
