In my opinion, I think the intro and outro animations were much better, and cooler, in the Halo 5 Beta. This was brought up in a thread a while back, however I forgot who the thread author was so I can’t mention them here.
First off, the team logo in the background was kinda cool, especially in Breakout. However, I wouldn’t care what they did with that aspect.
Secondly, if you somehow didn’t notice, in the final outro scene the winning Spartans are high fiving each other and gloating. This kind of thing really brings out the human underneath the armor. Plus, Spartan IVs tend to do stuff like that a lot.
I think the gloating was a bit unsportsmanlike, but if they did a badass shoulder roll or stretch as if to say “yeah, I’m a badass and I’m not even warmed up yet” would be cool
I hated the outro animation in beta. Losing is bad enough, let alone watching the enemy rubbing defeat in your face. It was quite unsportsmanlike and I’m glad enough people opted to get rid of it. I don’t think there should be a ‘winner shot’ in any shooter honestly. I’d much rather go back to a game over shot of the map itself with the scoreboard brought up.
Everyone hated the bro-spartans for some reason. Many of the players complaining about it are bad sports themselves with the crap they spew over chat during a match.

Or maybe I’m a quiet person who doesn’t talk and simply hated a lossbeing rubbed in the loser’s faces?
This has been brought up so many times OP. The facts are the majority of people (including myself) hated the outro in the beta. They looked dumb, silly, kidish, non professional, didn’t have a Halo feeling to them at all and a lot of people felt it was something COD would do and they’re right.
Are the intros/outros great right now? No, but they’re leaps and bounds better then the beta.
I loved the bro moments and accompanying guitar riffs. When I came to Waypoint to see what the community was saying, my jaw dropped…so many complaints. It was at that point that I realized that I truly have little in common with most here.
I liked the intro and outro of the Beta a lot more. The newer on in the full game is just boring and kindof lazy - when I watch it, I just don’t feel anything. its like “whatever”, as if it really would not matter if it were even there. While the Beta outro I felt something; good - like when I won a really tough match it was awesome to see the team so happy, it made me feel so happy cuz I could relate, or bad - like when the other team just stomps all over yours and you see them gloating, you can feel more.

I’d like to see players be able to pick how thier individual Spartan acts during the outro or even intro. Like something simple from crouching or a hands up high taking in the glory. It’s your Spartan, how they act and behave should be your choice. Either being serious or just goofy. These are Spartan-IVs too, they didn’t have to go through years of training like the Spartan-II or the Spartan-III did. I’m sure there’s plenty who don’t act 24/7 professional among the Spartan-IV.

I’d also like a toggle to turn off my ability to see victory animations for both teams on my screen. That’d be cool to customize how our Spartans act, but I’d also like to not see my team or the enemy celebrating a victory.
