Hello Everyone,
I’m going to give my quick opinion on the 5 good and 5 bad aspects about the BETA. My personal opinion.
GOOD
- Global thruster abilities - I love these, every one has them and they change the game play in many positive and dynamic ways.
- Sounds - I might not like the actual sounds they put in but I love hearing a chime when a person dies or gets hit. I also actually like the AI callouts during a match. When you are actually playing its pretty useful.
- Weapons - I love the BR, the AR, DMR, pistol. The weapons all feel good when you take the time to learn their limitations.
- Aim Down Sights. These were dirty words to me as a hardcore Halo fan before playing the beta. I have to say that they are actually great and do not take away from the experience at all. I like them now that I’ve kept an open mind about them.
- FEEL - this game definitely feels like a halo game, just evolved. I don’t feel like I’m playing COD at all. I’m playing Halo, plain and simple and loving it.
BAD
- Kill Cams - Not a fan. I like the old way of dying and waiting for respawn.
That’s it. I can’t even think of anything fundamentally wrong with this game. All my gripes are BETA related (long search times, dropped games, etc).
I’m a Halo fan from the original XBOX days with the huge controller. Take it from this seasoned player, this game is Halo and it has the potential of being an amazing multiplayer experience that is meant for a team of friends to battle it out against the world.
