Is this sort of like beta testers in the community? How do you become one? I heard about it through the video on the homepage btw.
Beta Hopper is a playlist that will go live in October to test the Title Update playlist settings. You will just have to enter the playlist to play. That’s all.
Like the guy above me said, I don’t think you actually have to enter anything. There will probably just be a playlist update and these “beta hoppers” will be available to play in. 343 would most likely want as many people as possible to play the new update to test it out, so I don’t see why they would restrict it.

I thought Beta Hoppers was supposed to go live in September…or is that just the TU?

Ugh, do you know if we will at least be able to use the TU in custom games?
We couldn’t use the new gametypes anywhere else until then.

The TU expands game options to be able to accept these gametypes. The gametypes can be changed at 343i’s will, and do not come with the TU.

Everything you hate about loldefaultReach settings. It will give the game a much needed shot in the arm and make the game play much more similar to classic Halo.

Any spasifics when it comes out? Bf3 comes out Oct. 15…Good chance ill never play it if it comes out after that 
Everyone will be able to access the Beta Hoppers so long you happen to have a Xbox LIVE connection and are able to download a title update. =P
I can’t wait for the TU and for us to try out some new features from the TU! =)

There was a post that only certain people will get to play the beta hopper. That kinda sucks, but im a patient person even though im so excited for the TU!
What would be the point of only certain people getting into the hoppers if it effects everyone in the end?
Might as well give everyone the chance to voice their opinions.

Actually comes out the 25th, not the 15th… (BF3 Beta in Sept.)
That’s one thing I’m really looking forward to, unless of course I get to try the TU, lol.
