so i see that 343 is having a beta for the title update well how will we get in are we invited or is it just a playlist?
I believe it will work like this,
The Title Update will come out mid-late September, they will have a beta for selected people withe the Beta Hoppers in October and they provide feedback for the final gametypes in the Anniversary Playlists.

I heard ‘a lot’ not ‘millions’.
Giving it to everyone or ‘millions’ to beta test the hoppers, well you might as well give it to everyone.

Could have sworn they said selected people, like some sort of beta sign up on the forums or something of that manner, it may work in a similar way to BTB All-Stars were you have to do something to gain access to the playlist.

I believe they also said on the panel that they fixed a few bugs & glitches that they haven’t mentioned, it is possible they will release it in September, let us play Vanilla Reach, see if any side effects/problems are found and then let us get hands-on on the gametypes.
Beta Hoppers might be an Open-beta.
Maybe they’ll start the hopper as closed with select gamertags allowed to use them with some form of whitelist and then once they’re happy, then they’ll open it up to the public.

I think it would be worth announcing otherwise people would be wondering why the Title Update came out two months before it was needed.

Agreed, maybe not play a certain amount of games but something to do with the Community like just have an account on the Waypoint Forums or make a post or something.
Hmm, so it looks like I heard right! I’m pretty sure this means that the beta will be open to everyone. Or at least, the members of Waypoint.
i think the better question is when the beta opens, unless i missed that part- lol
