Unless I missed something we have no news about the Beta Hoppers? September is about half over, didn’t 343 say these would start in Sept? Any ideas? Specualtion? Did I miss some news?
It is expected to be released Late September. So just wait to see when the Gametypes are released. The Matchmaking Playlists won’t be up until October-ish.
The TU is expected to hit in late Sept. The BETA Hoppers will come after that so I am guessing early OCT. They will probably announce something soon.
Give 343 some time, they are preparing the TU and Beta Hoppers so they don’t crash the game.
343 said that the Beta hoppers will release in October.
Instead of Beta Hoppers, why not Zeta Hoppers or the Sigma Hoppers. To set this aside from all the others like what they did with the gamma forums!

I’m just glad we all get to play Custom Games with the new settings and run LAN’s as well. This will bring so many people playing Customs again like the old days for the first few weeks when the playlists aren’t out in Beta Hoppers yet.

9/14/11. One year anniversary of Reach.

It’s been a long one. I remember standing in line at midnight waiting for it one year ago. We discussed what our TU needed within the first month of the game being out. I was there for every month that passed by listening to what the community was screaming and fighting for. It’s safe to say I might explode when I download the Title Update that morning once it arrives.

I remember going to Gamestop at Midnight and being really excited then getting in my car…Dead 
Lucky I live close so I walked home and played Reach I was Happy again.
could they rig it so the title update is on the 14th that would be nice. one year after release.

The TU is an adjustment to how 343 can adjust gametypes. It has to go live before the BETA hoppers. It is the only way to adjust gametypes. Right now they have no way to adjust bloom, AAs, etc. After the TU we will get BETA Hoppers to better help 343 gauge what the commmunity wants.
