I feel like these Pros messed the game up. AR starts with pistols is the WORST. The pistol is so over powered, that Halo 5 has turned into a pistol fest… just like the shotgun has ruin Gears of War. As soon as the match starts, 95% of the match switches to pistol. The pistol is suppose to be a SIDE WEAPON to get that final one or two shots AFTER your primary gun runs out (quicker to switch guns than reload primary). For the pistol to be a primary weapon and actually challenge BRS and DMRS is laughable. What the F I’d going in with 343?

I agree for the most part, but I don’t think your reasons are what makes multiplayer worse than the beta.

Ok, sorry, I just could have sworn that I have seen this post somewere else with your name on it, no biggie. Any way, the pistol is not meant to be a sidearm, its meant to be a viable alternative to the superior BR and DMR (found on the map). The problem with BR starts is that no one will ever switch weapons, no one ever changed or experimented with other guns or learned were specific gun were on the map since they were given the best one right off the bat.

Uhhh nope. The pistol is meant to be competetive with the sandbox but not dominant. Its about perfect.
This isnt call of duty. Each gun is worth using in this game.

Bc the BR and DMR can kill pistol users quite easily.
if your getting killed by a pistol when you have either of these weapons it’s bc one of two things.
You suck, or the other person simply out played you.
Jesus Christ and to think people on the team beyond forums want the pistol to be a 4 shot kill instead of a 5 shot. Most of you would flip their -Yoink-.

I think both are pretty bad to be honest. And this is coming from someone who has played every Halo beforehand. Sure, in Campaign the game is smooth and the abilities are refreshing, but I don’t think it translates very well into the competitive PvP environment. Oh well, I guess I have Halo 3 Anniversary to look forward to…
