like halo reach, halo 4 should have a multiplayer beta.it is a chance to fix bugs and imbalances in the gameplay. after the reach beta, bungie decided the elites were too powerful in invasion.
if halo 4 has a beta, it would most likely come out in june or july. the beta’s access point will probably be the main menu of combat evolved anniversary.
343 says halo 4 is to be released “holiday” 2012… most people think that the word holiday automatically means december. since the holiday season officially begins on black friday, 343 probably wants the release of the game to be just before or just after black friday…
i predict the release date of halo 4 to be november 20, or 27

Beta=No glitches
Demo=No game
And that really isnt logical. A beta irons out glitches. A demo just tries out a game.

But I meant, they have to be slightly selective. You cant open the flood gates (ha ha, play the H3 campaign) to every fan of Halo, thats simply too many. There were requirements for the Halo 3 one, and to play the reach one, you had to preorder ODST. It might be that you just preorder halo 4 (another game did this, i forgot what it was…).
i REALLY hope thats when the beta comes out but i think it would be better to just release it thru the market place, and holiday is any where in the 4th quarter i think so im hopping september

I remember now. It was Gears of War 3, but I think brotherhood did it too.
Easy -Yoink- fix, release the demo when game goes gold or what ever, and shut it down the day, or the day before the game is released. Valve did that with Left 4 Dead.

That would be unfair. You should leave a demo up even after the game comes out, so people can try it and see if they like it.

Yeah he did say that. And I can’t begin to imagine. D:

My guess is if you have Anniversary, you get the beta. Many people didn’t buy the game because its a remake, but people will buy it to play a beta (seems a little backward, but whatever). Seems like a good way for 343i to add some more money into their pockets and advertise their first release with their second release.

All remember that halo reach was the only halo with a open multiplayer beta. The probability that halo 4 will have a open beta is quite slim. If there was a open beta it would have likely been released by now.selected betavtesters have been selected and bungie did also choose select few people that applied for the job.
