Well Halo 4 has been out for a few days now, and I would like to know what maps are considered good, and the ones that are considered bad. So far, I’ve heard that Haven and Abandon are among the best, and Complex is one of the worst. What do you think?
I. Hate. Ragnarok.
adrift is very camp friendly, and reminds me of countdown which is not a good thing.
I like Haven and Adrift. Ragnarok is my favorite big team map. I hate Abandon, that map is annoying, I can’t get a kill on it because people keep running away and hiding. in top middle this guy kept hiding behind the lift until somebody showed up and killed me, he would just keep running around it so i couldn’t get a shot
This is based on slayer.
Adrift - Good map. Agree with the camping thing. Weapon spawns are good though.
Haven - Perfect. Instant classic. Halo at it’s best.
Complex - Another good one. Ghost vs Ghost reminds me of Halo 3 High Ground
Solace - Love the initial spawn and the outer part lo. My favourite Halo 4 song is Solace to :).
Abandon/Abandonded - Haven’t played it enough but good mix of close quarters and not so close quarters battles.
Valhalla - I call it Valhalla because it fells just like it :D! Reach needed a good Halo 3 remake.
Exile - The definitive BTB map :).
Vortex - Need to play more. So far so good.
Meltdown - Don’t think I played it at all yet.
Longbow - Dominion lives here!!!

I. Love. Ragnarok. Definitely my favorite. Then again it was my favorite Halo 3 map, too. My least favorite is probably Abandon.
