Do not allow the player to drop his weapon. While sprinting have the weapon be similar to weapon zoom in halo 5 allowing a decreased field of view but obviously increased movement speed.
Thoghts? Thoughts on how halo 6 should implement sprint if it must be implemented?
I actually don’t mind how it is. Maybe get rid of spartan charge so players can’t immediately attack when sprinting.

I think it is fine. But maybe make the spartan charge only take down shields.
Or just remove sprint and have a base movement speed the same as the Classics with a larger FOV.
Look, faster gameplay without the downsides of sprint.
If we need sprint, just have an animation with no speed increase but the FOV will get wider. Then people who want speed will think they’re moving faster.

This
Remove sprint, buff base movement speed to 110-115% and VOILA!!!
Faster game without sprint and you don’t have to lower your gun
Also, no infinite sprint, please. You may be an augmented super shoulder, but lugging around that armor + a battle rifle and a magnum, and being able to sprint constantly? Come on.

I’d rather Reach Sprint return in Halo 6, a VERY limited amount of time, while at the same time, you get to where you need to go.
Please use the Sprint thread noted above to continue this discussion further
