Best way to get big custom game lobbies?

What is the best way to get a moderately sized lobby (8-16 players) on halo reach?

I would try the recruiting forums to see if anyone is organising big custom lobbies.

What I would not do is search in BTB and back out once the lobby is almost full and then send invites to recent players. They are just annoying and I block communications from everyone that sends me one.

I don’t think the recruiting forums is meant for custom game lobbies.

Recruiting is for all game types. Clans, Customs, Matchmaking, Campaign and FF.

Actually, I join those, and people I send those join. I get a full 16 lobby. Just send a message though, not a game invite, if they reply that they want one send it.
