So I’ve been rushed by massed Infantry a lot lately when Im playing Ranked 3v3 Team War. A couple of times I defended it and won just because my team mates were good players and our bases where close and not spread out. How ever they almost took us down on the flanks with all infantry within the first 10-15 min or so. Is the only way to beat this is to invest in turrets and defenses early on? I am a level 42 so I can adjust on the fly by now but it is still hard to defend it if all three opposing players infantry rush. I like to build up my power and build up tech as my first goals. What are some strategies to stop the early rush?
aa unsc and a 5th building make a barrajs. make hellbringers/rines until maxed. also take a minobase
only make 2 to 4 snipers there most a waste
you will fine that alwaying making units plus tueeets makes it easy
now, there is no xounter for kisano map control early match since jackrabbits with redline are way to pp so just try not to waste power rush to tech 1 cyclopses
I have been stopping infantry rushes in 3v3 with tech rush to level 2 and building warthogs. Even ruined some bad JR rushes with it too.
it’s not really that bad when you get hit by one player but when all 3 enemy players rush together against just you there is not much you can do. Your team may be able to help you on the map you spawn literally next door to each other but if there is much space between you your not going to survive.
rushing I have nothing against but rushing 3 armies at one base is just ridiculous. If you do this with your friends you know its because one person can’t build enough anti-rush units to stop it.
I’ve been hit by this a few times and I have found that when playing banished, suicide grunts and turrets work great to hold out against infantry. Try to micro your suicide grunts to get into the large balls of infantry to get the most out of splash damage. As UNSC I would say turrets and hellbringers are your best bet. If all 3 are planning on hitting you then go nuts with the turrets and don’t be afraid of over spending to counter it.

10 to 15 mins in is not a rush. That is an attack you had 10 to 15 mins to scout and counter. I am sorry but there is no purpose to this post you are literally complaining about a team in a team playlist working together.

Build units if you scout it build snipers tech one unc and if banished lock base build suicide grunts. Then unlock and laugh as your oponents rush gets destroyed by exploding grunts.
