I’m sick of these dickcheeses… Either you’re matched against an “unranked” onyx that goes on a 30 kill spree because everyone on your team is unranked bronzes…
It’s almost the end of June and yet half my team is unranked… wtf?! Do you unranked -Yoinks!- only play 1 match a week?!
At first ‘focused’ seem to be a lot better than ‘balanced’ but now it’s just as bad.
I just want to play matches where everyone is an even rank so it least is a little fair. None of these unranked diamond and onyx -Yoink- tards running the map because its on easy mode for them.
I feel your pain. Unfortunately there is no way to avoid unranked players that I’m aware of. It happens all month, even days before a reset. With as many matches happening with unranked players I see no reason why THEY can’t be pooled together. Then ranked players can play against…I don’t know, OTHER RANKED PLAYERS! What a concept!!
343 has to realize by now that Bungie did everything better, they just won’t admit it. I for one am far from impressed.
I hate it. When it works out in your favor sure it’s cool. Just did one swat match with an unranked player on my team that had 22 kills. Looked up his gamer tag on Waypoint, he’s onyx.
Seriously you 343 dip -Yoink-, how is that fair or “balanced” matchmaking. Sure it worked out in my favor being a gold 3 and having an onyx player on my team. But otherwise it’s total bull -Yoink- to face someone way out of your league because they’re still unranked at the end of the month.
Good luck getting 343 to admit that resetting ranks and matchmaking is a joke. They know this forum exists, they just tune out all the negative comments that might hurt their feelings even though through our -Yoinking!- they should be taking notes on how to make a better Halo experience.
My, My, this is an angry thread. Still, I agree and wish they would match unranked with unranked. And change the 1 month season to 3 months; let us try that. But what if there are too few players to match unranked with other unranked players?? Well sir, for those last 6 players, we’ll call that punishment for not playing enough Halo and we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
One month is far to short I can agree.
if the reset was every 3 months everything would flow much more smoothly. Those UNRANKED players will win their games over and over and then remain were they belong for the next 8-10 weeks.
the only gametypes that shoukd consistently have a pool of players from all skill levels should be social.
no more hidden ranks for social gametypes.
I don’t like to lose. No one does. If it’s a fair even match then I can accept it. But when you lose because you’re constantly facing unranked onyx players it’s messed up. I can see how it’s fun for them to easily boost their K/D ratio and run the match… but for players like myself it’s really ruining the fun of the game. The worst part is, the ranks are about to be reset again so it’s back to square one. It just feels like onyx and platinum players are trying to avoid getting ranked so they have easy matches.
I swear… in the last 5 matches there’s been a different unranked onyx. This last one, with 30 kills, this was his first qualifying game. The only reason we managed to win was his team had one guy with 5 kills and 21 deaths. I usually have my first 10 qualifying matches done in like 2-3 days.
I don’t care if I have to wait an extra minute or two… I want an option to make it so the only way I play unranked players is if I too am unranked.
Focused doesn’t work… all 4 were in the same spartan company of unranked onyx players. Matchmaking is -Yoinking!- ridiculous right now that 343 has made playing online a pain in the -Yoink- not fun…
Once I saw 4 of the same player emblems in the pre-game it was a sign to quit because it was going to be a waste of time.
