Yeah I got nothing.
I think the armor abilities are really great and improved in halo 4 and much more balanced than in reach and I love the new maps even though I wish there were more and some of the new weapons (the sticky detanator, railgun, incineration cannon) are really well designed and fun to use. While I understand the game has flaws, anyone who says “nothing” is good or improved in this game is being a tad bit negative.
I’m loving Spartan Ops. My favorite part of Halo is the story, and now we get additional story after the Campaign. Great stuff.
I love the soundtrack, also the CGIs and the acting is great!
Got a nice box.
Best things so far:
A) When randoms have mics, they are paired together
B) NEVER being forced to spawn with an AR EVER AGAIN!x
C) Spawning Blue Team on Exile

I agree with this post. Campaign was spectacular. SOps is good too, I just wish the story tied into the missions a bit better. But all and all, I think that’s grand. Now if they can just crush some code bugs and brew up some more likeable maps for multiplayer, I think we’ll have a super game.
- Fast paced
- Graphics (except for a few major mis steps…looks at Pelican textures
- Story
- Ordnance Drops
- Maps (not nearly as good as H2 maps, but a step above most Reach and H3 maps)
- An actual purpose for Commendations
- It is actually fun again for the first time since H2.
The bad:

No file browser

UI very un-intuitive at times (especially for co-op etc)

No adjustable join in progress settings

Invisibility should be a pick up/ordnance drop (even though I use it…)

Campaign feeling a bit too…hollow during the first few levels

Some really bad textures

Not neccecarily bad, but there should’ve been a “classic” list from the start
Things 343i should improve for H4 and H5:
- Less versions of each armor piece with different skins. Just have “Skins” as a separate category and let them be applied to every set of armor.
- More diversity in Spartan Ops
- More GOOD community maps in Matchmaking.
- More diversity for Prometheans + more diverse AI/attacks
Multiplayer gameplay is awesome. I’ve had some of my most fun best games in my Halo career in Halo 4

map changing is faster in theater and customs
the rest of the game sucks
-Graphics
-The Campaign
-The fact that kill times are not abysmal anymore, unlike Halo Reach.
-The Lightrifle
-Maps aren’t copy pasta from MP(first built as a MP space then re-doubled as a Campaign area). There’s Spartan OPs i know but none of the MP spaces are places we visit in the single player.
-Better AA balance
-The idea of Spartan OPs
-More Armor Customization
-The Mantis
-Bleedthrough on melees
-The shooting code is more solid than Reach and blows Halo 3 out of the water (netcode as well)
-The weapon sandbox (though balance issues need to be addressed).
-Hologram is actually useful.
