Best Sensitivity (What's yours?)

Whats your favorite look sensitivity in Halo : Reach?
Mine’s 7 followed by 6.

Mine is set at Default. I haven’t changed since Halo CE. Don’t know why. It just feels right.

Mine is 7.

I don’t know how you guys do it. That’s way too fast for me.

It takes some time to get used to it. I used to play default before, but as time past it was to slow for me to look around.

I am just somehow more accurate with the higher sensitivities.

Mine’s 6. It feels natural.

The “best” sensitivity is the highest one you can control.

Indeed. What is yours?

4

6 if I only play swat or snipes

I use 10 when my aiming gets bad, when it gets better back down to 4.

Around 5-6. Of course, it’s relative because I used to play with FPS Freeks (those little analog stick extenders) and now I’m playing on a Razer Onza with adjustable tension, so that’s not the only variable. I will say that I knew a guy that had what seemed to be a ridiculously low sensitivity in Halo 3, like 1-2, but was an absolute beast at long range (and pretty good overall).

Mine’s 10. Once you get used to the speed it’s amazing.

I used to use default, and it felt right for aiming and pacing shots. However, I felt it was horribly slow when trying to turn around. If someone’s shooting me from behind, and I have no choice but to fight them, they can get three shots off before I’m fully turned around. I upped it to 6, and once I got used to it, I started to destroy everything. The learning curve is pretty steep, but once you’re on top, it feelsgoodman. Especially when it’s paired with Bumper Jumper. Maximum pwnage.

4 sens bj. Reppin this for 4 years along with every other tryhard on the planet.

Default 3 to 5

I started out on 7. Then i began to watch all my games a bit more in depth, slowing the camera down and watching each individual shot. I came to realize that i was aiming all over the place, bullets flying past my opponents heads or hitting shoulders instead of landing headshots.

I moved it down to 5 and found my games began to improve quite dramatically. I then went a step further and moved it to 3, to be honest i kind of bounce between 3,4,5.

I also recently bought a brand new controller, the sticks are a bit stiffer so i think that might be why i cant decide on 3 4 or 5 sensitivity.

It really sucks to try and turn around though, when its that low, if an enemy drops behind then i pretty much know im toast unless i can pull a ninja on him/her.

I like it set on 2. It’s a disadvantage in close quarters but at mid to long range it’s great.

2

accuracy> situational awareness

Everyone knows that all the best people (like me) use 10. Because it’s the biggest number.

Joking aside, I play on 9. I was playing a Gamebattles match in Halo 3, and we had already won 2/3 games, but played the third game for fun. I just did better, so I stuck to it (had been playing on 5).

I play at 5.
