I’m remaking some Reach maps and need a replacement for the Needle Rife with whatever Halo 4 weapon best matches the feel of the Needle Rifle. Which one do you think would work best?
Halo 3: Carbine
Halo Reach: Needle Rifle

The Carbine is the closest as it’s the Covenant precision rifle, but it lacks the supercombine feature that helped make the Needle Rifle superior to the Carbine.
That thing was absolute murder against Brutes in Reach. 1 headshot or 3 bodyshots either way something was dead.

cool that your remaking a reach map, i like reach, but if you want a gun like needler rifle, sorry but thats just the carbine, the carbine was Halo2/3, and just got dumped for the needler rifle in early days for halo reach, it makes sence but the carbine has been in 4 halo games, needler rifle has been in one

The LightRifle has similar killtimes, and nobody will pick up the carbine. I vote LightRifle.
