I want to finish the assassination commendation (on master now) so what is the best playlist to get assassinations?
I’d say team objective, oddball and KOTH is pretty good if you use camo well. 
SWAT seems pretty good, there’s no radar.

Gametypes on small maps, sprint and no radar are your best bet, i.e. SWAT.
Griffball, go behind the opposing team when they’re going after one of your teammates with the Ball.

I find teammates almost always hammer me and the opponent, yoinking me and betraying me at the same time, whenever I initiate an assassination in Grifball so I stopped doing it!!!

lol, i remember that problem in Reach. Now players won’t even touch, b/c of the number of betrayals i have against them. Since most of the GB maps are big, and Sprint is built in, try to isolate yourself from the team and get behind the opposing team.
Don’t do SWAT. Rather, do Snipers.
It’s harder to hit you or stop you from assassinating someone in Snipers, and 75% of the maps are easy to get Assassinations on.
Just avoid Rag, Exile and Vortex and you should be good.
Multi Team works fairly well, as most players are inexperienced in Multi Team (as far as I’ve played) and will be easier to assassinate.
FFA is also good despite Radar, as it’s perfect for Ninja’ing or simply running up behind someone while they’re distracted by another guy.
Ninja’ing is always a good tactic, and is executed best in FFA.
I think the best game type just has to be Team Snipers, every time there’s always someone stood looking through there scope, so they never know your behind them and then bang, you assassinate them.
Anything Free for All, there is a wide selection of unwary targets to drive the blade of a knife into.

I finished all of mine on Team slayer pro, but Throwdown, snipers and swat work well.

You have to spawnkill them first (without assassinating) then they all go AFK. After that, your free to assassinate all you want!

Eh, fair enough. I got all mine a while back in Regicide, though. So many people get tunnel vision on the King, they make for easy pin cushions.
