My current mission in Halo is to unlock all the stances. I got the Forerunner one thanks to Fiesta. I’m doing pretty well on the UNSC one; just have to grind out a bunch more laser kills. Still on rank 3 there but it is perfectly doable with enough time in BTB.
Now my question is, how the hell do I get concussion rifle kills? I’m on rank 2 there and I just got to rank 2 recently. How have people gotten hundreds of kills with this thing already? I play infinity slayer but I almost never get that in ordinance drops. What is the best place to get kills with this damn weapon?
To be honest, im answering your question because you complained about it in this thread. Had I even seen this thread in the main listing (which I did not) I would have skipped passed it because I wouldn’t have felt like I had much to contribute on the subject at hand and figured others probably had a better answer to your question. Truthfully my first thought when I read this question was ‘meh’, I’ve never really thought about this nor do I care that much because I never use the weapon. (And on a side note I’d like to point out that you only waited 1 hour before you decided to bash the community for not replying to you question)…
anyway…
the best place? I don’t know.
but if you hardly ever get the weapon then I where to get kills with it is the least of your problems right?
Each time you play a different game type (so basically, infinity slayer or big team infinity slayer because they’re pretty much the only 2 gametypes in halo 4), go to your recent files and save them.
Then go to the custom games menus and look at the weighting for the concussion rifle in each gametype to figure out which gametype is the most likely one to offer you the weapon.
[/li]- save the gametype from your file history, don’t use the built in ones because they may not be the same.
don’t use the weapon in fiesta (if it’s even available) because you’ll just get raped.
use if in confined areas because in open spaces it’s easy enough to dodge and you’ll get picked off before you manage to get a decent number of kills with it.
Now go and read these two well thought out and constructive posts and give me your thoughts (or be a hypocrite and don’t, it’s your choice); An Analysis of quitting and how to prevent it 1 Gametype = FAIL : More Gametypes FTW
neither of these threads received the number of replies that I thought they would but I suspect it was due to their length rather than people not fining the subject interesting enough. Most people generally just read and reply in threads when doing so requires little thought or effort and/or they strongly agree with the topic at hand. And next time you make a thread, have a little patience, not everyone is on this forum all the time and you can’t always expect people to reply straight away.
I’m lagging on this weapon, too. Only advice I have to offer is Requisition and Ordinance Priority in your slayer loadouts, and maybe frequent the maps that offer it for ordinance.
I’d say bring back dino blasters too but I’m busy enjoy it’s replacement, Rockets & Rails. Would be cool to include into the mix though.

The OP posted his question in March, I’m pretty sure he would have completed it by now.
