Best part of each Halo campaign

Title says it all
Personally I like CE for its immersiveness in the halo universe and excellent twist with the flood
Halo 2 for its extremely well written storyline, probably the best in the franchise
Halo 3 for the sheer scale and epicness of the campaign with an awesome ending
Halo Reach for the excellent way it conveyed the atmosphere and tragedy of the war
Halo 4 for showing us the bond between master chief and cortana

What do you guys think. What’s your favorite part of each Halo’s campaign?

My opinions follow:

  • Halo: Combat Evolved/Anniversary: First Warthog run. - Halo 2/Anniversary: Fairly interesting boss fights. - Halo 3: Redone Warthog run. Really nice soundtrack that feels a bit like just a remake of CE’s. - Halo 3: ODST: Open environment, more exploration compared to other games. - Halo: Reach: Long Night of Solace with the Sabre space combat. - Halo 4: Provides character development for Chief, as well as the fact that I liked the mission ‘Midnight’ - Halo 5: Guardians: The best part was the credits.

Loling at the credits being the best part of halo 5

I really didn’t want to mention Halo 5 cause I’d just end up ranting about the different ways it sucked lol

Except for visuals and key character appearances it had nothing cool about it imo

Yea the graphics were pretty good but art style sucked and buck, arbiter, and blue team were just empty fan service. No character to them at all aside from arbiter giving a few speeches and buck making a few stupid jokes

Ya pretty much

CE: Storming the beach
2: Seeing the Covenant’s perspective of the war
3: Killing Truth
Wars: Watching the Spartans decimate the Elites
ODST: Escorting the Oliphant along the highway
Reach: Delivering Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn
4: The Didact’s awakening
5: The Battle for Sunaion

Halo CE- the mystery of it all, and the reveal of the Flood, and the open level design, especially in Halo and Silent Cartographer.
Halo 2-The best overall story in the series. It certainly had the most expansive, well rounded supporting cast of allies and villains.
Halo 3-Epic scale. What Halo 3 lacked in story, it made up in epic scale. While the cutscenes dialog wasn’t so fantastic “to war” still makes me cringe, the epic scale, especially once we got to the ark, was worth it.
Halo 3 ODST-The structure of the game. I liked the open hub world, and the way that allowed the story to unfold.
Halo Reach-Fighting a battle you knew you were destined to loose. The post credit battle as Noble six. Just when I thought I could put the controller down.
Halo 4-Extremely well written relationship between John and Cortana.
Halo 5- Spartan abilities use in Campaign. The verticality of some missions. Yeah, the story was lackluster, but the missions were fun.

I would say the last mission on halo reach because it was really fun for me and a friend to try and see how long we can survive the countless amounts of enemy’s that try to kill you

Im going to be modest.
Halo Reach: Two parts, first is when you get to use the huge a** gun to defend the Pillar of Autumn…The second one is when you’re the lone wolf at the end, especially the kick butt ending scene where you fend off those three sword elites.

Halo: CE—Enjoyed the distinct feeling of being outmatched in terms of weapons and vehicles as well as dreading being the last man standing
Halo 2------Marveled at seeing the “other guy’s” point of view and the superb support characters (on a side note Gravemind had the best performance in the entire series here)
Halo 3------Enjoyed the culmination, and apparent resolution, of a great story. “The Covenant” is still my favorite campaign mission in any game.
Halo 3: ODST- Enjoyed the beak from shoot 'em up action and the overall mysterious mood
Halo Wars- Enjoyed a decent strategy game. Bout it. (Fangirled over dual-wield energy swords)
Halo: Reach- Marveled at the customization options and the sullen, heartfelt story. Knowing (almost) everyone died from the beginning made it all the better
Halo 4-----Wasn’t a fan of much, but the introduction of a new type of weapon and a primary antagonist that wasn’t covenant or flood made things interesting
Halo 5: Stellar graphics, nice soundtrack, great multiplayer in terms of Warzone. Story was bland but I enjoy the concept of the Warden greatly
