Linda, Kelly and Fred for me. Love seeing the original Spartan IIs get added alongside the Master Chief. Poor John’s been missing his childhood buddies. I forget how many are still alive but it’s more than just the four of them, a few more at least.

It’s hard to choose. I like all of the new characters… Except for Locke. I can’t just like him, I accept and tolerate him, but I like him LEAST and wouldn’t miss him… (WHY would you trade the Thorne/Palmer/etc for LOCKE T_T)

there are no NEW characters l like. buck, linda,kelly, and fred arent new and the only one i like out of osiris is buck and MAYBE locke. oh now i read the title more clearly lol in that case all of blue team and my answer from before

(Really liked those three characters)

I actually don’t hate Locke as much as other people seem to. He sucked in Nightfall but in Halo 5 he felt very much like Halo 1 Chief (hints of a personality but for the most part incredibly blank). Halo 5 did a good job of conveying characterisation for Osiris during gameplay, with nice little conversations occurring between the action, and I feel like Tanaka and Vale benefited from this the most. It’s unfortunate that the cutscenes were so lacklustre, and if you went by them alone, Vale would seem remarkably cold towards her teammates, which is really the complete opposite.

Thats a pretty fair perspective, I personally really liked Vale. I read her origin story in ‘Hunters in the Dark’ and she is a brave, intelligent, compassionate, tenacious warrior and I just loved her from the opening cutscene where she takes down a pelican full of Elite swordsmen on her own with a pistol. Tanaka was pretty forgettable in my opinion.
