The number of crawler snipers you have to kill is ridiculous… Does anyone know the best mission to kill them is?
I was wondering about this myself. I’m near enough mastered the Crawler Prime commendation, but with the Crawler Sniper one I’ve not even got the first rank of it yet. Guess that’s gonna be the make or break commendation for getting the Forerunner Destroyer commendation.

I have noticed that if you do a level where there’s an abundance of Prometheans on Legendary they will always show up to spoil your fun
I’ve completed some Enemy commendations but haven’t even achieved tier 1 for Crawler Snipes yet - any advice would be appreciated.
Hopefully 343i are monitoring the completion rate of commendations and may see that some tweaks are necessary to their requirements…

Just to show how there isn’t enough snipers, here are my stats.
Crawler slayer: 450/750 [3/6]
Crawler slayer: 4/300 [2/6]
Crawler prime slayer: done [6/6]
Knight slayer: 86/250 [4/6]
Knight battlewagon slayer: 58/150 [4/6]
Knight commander slayer: 0/60 [3/6]
Watcher slayer: 207/450 [3/6]
OH MY LORD. So it isn’t just me! I have everything in 4/6 or 5/6 except the snipers… Sorry to just be another complainer but if some one could help that’d be amazing!
So far the most you can get per level is 9-11 snipers on e1.c3. This takes about 10-12 min to complete each chapter. Unfortunatly these snipers are on the same scale as the other crawlers, so we will be needing to kill 3000 of these before its completed. I dont want to do the math because i will get sad, but that is a lot of hours doing nothing but one mission.
I think 343 needs to lower the amount needed to level it up, or have a mission with a lot of snipers in it which would suck because they actually do a lot of damage.
What is a good level for the Knight Commander?
Yeah some of the amounts are just ridiculous. Plasma Pistol needs to get knocked down a lot.
i get the feeling that when more spartan ops come out we might see a crawler sniper alley. not as a tweak but as they just progress.

Spartan Miller (really good level for Forerunner enemies in general, a total of approximately 160 kills)
Try a solo run on easy for Spartan Miller. I’ve killed 10-14 crawler snipers by using one of the mounted turrets.

Yes the imbalanced is preposterous.
Alpha Crawler is the most prominent of the Crawlers next to standard Crawlers when they’re supposedly the Crawler leaders…
Knight Battlewagons is the most prominent of the Knights next to standard Knights when they’re supposedly the last resort…
This says a lot about Spartan Ops. Made for Co-op with no thought for Solo.
they should just add a few more crawler snipers to each mission with prometheans in. that would help get this commendation easier.
Playing “switchback”, “The Challenge”, or “spartan miller” on easy for grinding snipers, though knight commanders will be unbelievably hard to complete, as I’m going for vangaurd, and just need snipers & commanders left.
