Best map in Halo 4 so far?

I have to go with Ragnarok :stuck_out_tongue: I loved Valhalla in Halo 3, and this remake is the best map so far in Halo 4 :slight_smile: Second comes Haven (best FFA map)

At this point, I dread Ragnarok, since that’s the only map that gets voted on…

I love Meltdown, myself - beautiful map.

Exile is my favourite. I’m sick of having to play Ragnarok 24/7.

I think Ragnarok doesn’t really play like Valhalla due to 1) the DMR and 2) the Mantis, which can really slow down gameplay. I liked Valhalla in H3 but I think H4 is to different a game and the map doesn’t really play the same as it did in H3.

My favorite map is probably Solace. I actually like most of the TS maps (maybe excluding adrift) so I’m generally pretty content with whatever map gets chosen.

Vortex and Longbow for me.

Ragnarock has nostalgic value, though.

Meltdown is my fav on Dominion :wink: Have binary rifle everywhere:)

Solace is my third map, love it :slight_smile:

10 maps i belive in the Matchmaking, and 13 overall (forge maps), we get 3 more next month

No, actually it’s not, which is really sad since it is easily the best new map.

i like all maps but dont have a favorite.

2bad all maps are focused to the middle.

alot of the maps arent being used.
like vortex its always in the middle the fight. the 2 outer bases never get used that kinda stuff.

i remember halo 3 where the fight was everywhere and i kinda mis that

I think Meltdown is the best map in Halo 4…well it was until they decided to put 2 Mantis’ on that map.

Ragnarok freaking sucks. I play it all the time and it is boring. I played it a lot in Halo 3 and I’m playing it a lot in Halo 4. It just keeps getting more and more boring. Also, the spawns are screwed up on that map. If you push too far into the enemy’s base, they will spawn near/at your base.

Haven is also way too overplayed. I like it, but it is not my favourite. My favourite is Abandon. That map is a lot of fun. The only issue that I have with that map is the location of the flags in CTF. If you are playing 2-flag, then you don’t have one at the bottom of the map and one at the top. It isn’t fair…at all. The flags should be at the sides, one in purple forest and one in dark side. That would make a lot more sense.
