I’d have to say the haunted helmet is my favorite.

For me is a default helmet 
Technically Haunted is a Variant of the Pilot helmet
But I prefer Mark V
I would have to say the ODST UA variant.

I must admit the helmet design outside isn’t that fancy I just think the skull inside makes it the best helmet. If I could choose maybe security helmet with skull inside ,I think everyone would be using Mk. VI helmet with skull but it would be very cool 2! Security and Mk. VI are my top favourite besides haunted (pilot)

Haunted is a classic, but im rocking the max cqb because it takes a ton of effort to get
My favourite is the CQC helmet. I’m an eclipse, but it’s such an overlooked helmet.

Mark VI. I was so surprised and happy when I found out it returned.
I wore it in Halo 3, so it was interesting seeing it go from a default helmet to a more “rare” (at the time) helmet as you needed to hit Brigadier to unlock it, and there was a sudden spike in XP required to hit Brigadier from the previous rank.
I honestly don’t like any of them but I’ve used the grenadier helmet for the longest time only recently switched to the security helmet with one of the attachments.
