I recently got a Turtle Beach Elite 800x and i’ve been using it for a little over a week as of right now. I previously had a Turtle Beach XO4 Stealth but decided to try something new. I really like the 800x and Halo sounds amazing! What do you guys use to play Halo 5 with?
Just any quality stereo headset, my last one broke so I need a new one

Depends on the price.
I believe surround headsets are better for the ability to be able to discern location due to positional audio (i.e. in Halo 5, you would be able to tell where Spartans are coming from due to noise), especially in an FPS. But they’re notably more expensive. Though In terms of Stereo, I used Triton in the past, and they were decent.
I have the Halo 5 Astro A40’s and they are much better than any Turtle Beach I have ever owned. They sound great with Halo among many other games and of course Netflix.

My XO4 still works, but seems to be shorting out. So I bought my new headset…which sounds ten times better. The quality surpassed my old headset by far.

I’ve heard really good things about Astros but I had never tried them out myself.
