My personal favorite mission in Halo 5 has to be:
Blue Team. Getting to see John in-game fight along side his S-II squadmates for the first time is just wonderful.
My favorite mission of ALL TIME from the entirety of the Halo franchise is:
Assault on the Control Room from Halo: CE/CEA. That mission and the absolute nostalgia it brings back is just breathtaking.

A lot of incredible missions, especially CE-Reach, sorry 343 but your campaigns just don’t reach the level that Bungie’s did.
Favourite mission in Halo 5 was Genesis. Running down the Guardian with mag boots was a great showpiece.

I agree with Nalla on The Maw from Combat Evolved for best in the series. ALL of Halo: CE’s levels were probably the best in the series. The warthog chase was more arcade-y than 3’s, and the Pillar was a great setpiece for the final mission, since you end the game where you started.
The Library gets extra points for being the easiest mission in the series on Legendary. If you’re struggling, kill the flood at the beginning, always look for the one with the shotgun, trade that for your pistol and BAM, there’s the key to the mission. AR, SG, loadout. (Shotgun for combat forms, Assault Rifle for infectors and carriers.)

any mission where I play as the arbiter, or fight alongside him, is the best halo mission. So for H5: Swords of Sangheilios and Battle of Sunaion. Overall? tough, but Arbiter missions in H2!! #wortwortwort

I also like Quarantine Zone! Very Interesting level and also quite frightening.
Favorite Halo 5 mission:
I can’t choose one. All of Blue Team’s missions were my favorite. The emotion I felt in each of those missions was only rivaled by Halo 4’s final missions.
Favorite mission of all time:
I know most people will disagree with me, but I’d actually have to say Halo 4’s Midnight mission is my favorite mission ever. The emotion I felt in that mission alone will probably never be rivaled in any Halo mission ever again, especially with the final cutscene (which also happens to be the only cutscene in Halo’s history that actually made me cry).

Its gonna have to be Blue Team From halo 5, has so many great elements, Stealth, intense combat and introduces you to the epic new blue team!
As for overall. probably Halo (Halo 3) The final level of the game ending the epic trilogy! The intense fighting up the spire is increadable, especially on legendary with friends! Its such an epic battle with all kinds of flood enermy’s swarming you! It feels like how a final fight should be. Not to mention the epic escape in the warthog! the fustration was real, but it never stopped the fun!
Halo 5 is Genesis.
Overall is Assault on the Control room. That level is Halo for me. It might be a cut and paste job, but the big open outdoor areas were amazing at the time.
Its also my absolute favorite level to speed run.
