Ive played 4 since launch… And ive played halo for years its the best xbox 360 game out there an once had a great community no offence to people who like halo 4 but why … why … why … Are they seriously trying to ruin halo for us vets just so kids from cod (12 year olds)can come and play it, Even the competitive play is just dead since halo reach. Is anyone kinda disapointed in this game like myself i just want it to be good , I want to say its good but i cant its just Terrible, Campaign was the only good thing, Am i alone Who else is disappointed!?

In halo 3 you had to win games to rank up you had an INCENTIVE! to win.
You shouldn’t be rewarded for being bad at a game.

I’m surprised reach has the most votes. It’s been so ridiculed for completely trashing what halo was.
I think it was money well spend for me since “I” liked the campaign however it wasn’t the best ofcourse but it had its moments. Since launch till now I’m still playing the multiplayer cause all I care about when playing is having fun. there are times when I do want to play competitive but it doesn’t make that much of a problem. Still best halo I’ve played would be Halo 2 cause when it came out in its time is was just amazing I’m sure Halo 4 will be amazing aswell 343 Is already gunna update the playlist everyweek so I’m looking forward to it.
I cant be disapointed because i had my expections so low. I pretty much told myself before it came out that it was going to be COD with armor and futuristic weapons and thats pretty much what i got. I feel you though man. I think a remake of halo 3’s gameplay with new maps and weapons plus added unlockable customizable features (not loadouts or armor effect)is all they would have had to do to make a lot of intelligent gamers happy, and have a 3-4 year lifespan. I will admit, i am having fun playing this. A lot more fun that any COD game, but I feel I will get tired of it after a couple months, where as 5 years later I am still not sick of Halo 3.
Halo 2 is the best halo.
I am still having fun with Halo 4, I think it’s a great game, and love playing it. besides map glitches I think it’s great and is only going to get better.
I have played Halo since the beginning. I was 13 years old when I started. That game was amazing, LAN parties over friends houses for Halo 2 was amazing! 3 was amazing!!! SO many custom games of 3!!! hahah Reach yes, I played the 2 years of it when it was out! Had so much fun with that besides Armor Lock. Now Halo 4 it’s awesome been having so much fun.
Don’t let, because you get killed by ________ (fill in that blank) make you upset at the game, unless it’s something like a map glitch. other then that adapt and kill it!
The only real options are either Halo 2 or Halo 4.
Halo 2 is why Halo is so loved.
Halo 4 is the most ambitious Halo game ever released.
Both have a huge myriad of reasons they could be the best.
Now I have only played Halo 3, ODST, Reach and Halo 4. So far The look of 4 I feel is the best yet. As far as the game play and all I would have to admit it’s still a toss up.
I picked 3 though Reach was a close 2nd.
CE:
- most competitive multiplayer
- great sandbox
- awesome campaign
- best physics
- after 12 years i can still play it none stop and not get bored
ODST was by far my favorite 8)
But I didn’t dislike a single game from the series so far. All eight stand proudly on my shelf.
Halo CE/PC was awesome. Can’t play it anymore though because all the servers are located in South America and it lags like -Yoink-.

CoDs the reason they’re in the game
If someone released a game exactly like Halo 2 it would be a crappy game. Because halo 2 already happened. And you can go to a pawn shop and buy it.
So what if people can rank up easier? The online community has grown in massive numbers since older games (obviously). It’s the reward you get for spending 60 bucks plus all the extra map packs and crap. I enjoy actually getting something now because I killed a ton of your dudes.
And by this point in Halo we all should know. Your labeled rank doesn’t mean anything.
Halo 2 was my favorite and my all time favorite game. I been playing since CE. The thing is a game has to evolve . I think 343 did the best they could with what they had. They had to reach out to new gamers and appeal to the vets. That -Yoink- ain’t easy. If you don’t reach out to new gamers then the game is bound to flop and we would lose halo cause microsoft wouldn’t approve a new game. Microsoft is a money making company. I expected this. That is why I am not upset about it

I am also disappointed. It’s all the little things 343 have got wrong. They don’t show X’s when you die. Loadouts/Ordnance/Killcams/Instant respawn are all copied from CoD and to me don’t belong in halo. Have them on some playlists, but I want classic halo back…
But your rank should mean something. It’s truly terrible that it doesn’t mean something.
