im happy to see more people that are enjoying this game. regardless of the flaws it has, they will be fixed. this will be the game that i enjoy more than halo 3 when 343 gets around to nerfing the dmr a bit, and give me a actual ranking system, and take the energy sword off of every single map besides 2 or 3. (im not sure how many maps have the energy sword or not, but it seems like alot of them)

Agreed best Halo so far and o know what are all people that hate the game gonna say now i am i some sort of noob because I’ve not played a single other Halo game?? O no wait they can’t say that because i have played them all from Halo CE onward. Hang on what about my K/D and W/L ratio?? O know wait they aren’t to bad either in fact they are relatively good so come on guys what else is there??

Yah know with the broken death cams, the broken file browser, lack of campaign and spartan ops theater mode, the terrible JiP system (Kevin Franklen said you wouldn’t join games doomed to loose) you join with 5 kills left anyway…, the shotgunboltshot, MANY wall glitches etc. I could really go on and on here. Forge mode monitor hud glitch, frame rate lag on dominion maps…

Halo 4 comes close to Halo 2 in my personal opinion. H2> H4, and it will probably stay that way until these Bugs get fixed…
I have a lot of fun playing Halo 4, reminds me of when Halo 2 was in it’s prime. All the 360 kids went to H3 while me and my Original Xbox annihilated in Team SWAT!

While not perfect, I have to say, overall… as a total product… I agree. Halo 4 is my favorite Halo since CE for its time.
If you never played halo CE, Halo 2 or Halo 3 online competitively then you dont know what you missed out on. If you think reach is a halo game and a real halo experience then there is no hope for you. And halo 4 still isnt the game it should be. Needs a TON of work. but ill admit it has potential, you could look at reach and instantly know that game had no hope.

The game is absolutely amazing, agree with OP. The only minus for me is the lack of a normal free for all mode, but I hope they’ll do something about this.
In terms of ambition and concept, H4 is the best Halo I’ve ever played (and yes, I’ve played all the rest). In terms of execution, maybe not. Too many flaws. I’m willing to trust 343 with H5 though - for a first-time game developer, they did a pretty good job.
I agree. I still absolutely love Halo 2 and 3, but this iteration takes the cake for me. I just love how fast paced it is and that I can now spawn with my BR/DMR every game now instead of getting stuck spawning with the AR and having to run around the whole match trying to pick up and BR.

I enjoy Halo 4. I’ve played all the Halos and even had CE on Xbox and PC (the PC one was fun due to the player created content and maps, and the crazy mods. With all the mods it probably had the best staying power, what with the bush shooting plasma pistols, grenade firing assault rifles, the map where the warthog’s chain turret’s bullets were all replaced with rockets, and the shotguns that shot about 24 fuel rod blasts in a square pattern and such. The giant map with 5km between flags that had pilotable Longswords and Pelicans, and a human vehicle similar to the Scarab, was also awesome).
