What are some of your favorite missions in the Halo games?
Since there are about a few levels that really stand out to me in each game, I will go over them by game. CE featured some of the most iconic leaves such as The Silent Cartographer and 343 Guilty Spark. Halo was definitely a great mission, but there’s just something about the Pillar of Autumn that screams epic. Outskirts, Metropolis, and Delta Halo are some of the greatest levels in Halo 2 and some of the finest in the franchise. For me Halo 3’s missions stood out the most, as The Covenant, the Storm, the Ark, and Crow’s Nest take the top spot. Imo Halo 4 didn’t have a great campaign, so with that being said I don’t really have any treasured levels. I think Infinity was a gorgeous mission, but other than that the campaign was pretty bland. Halo 5 definitely had its moments even though the story was seriously lacking, such as Swords of Sanghelios, Battle of Sunaion, Reuinon, and Blue Team. I haven’t played too much of Reach and ODST’s missions, so for those of you who were wondering why none of those were featured on this list, that’s why.

But Reach had the mission where you fly around in the Falcon in New Alexandria, which was pretty cool. Halo 2, of course, had Outskirts and Metropolis. Halo 3 had The Arka, and The Storm. Halo CE had that night mission, too.
CE: Assault on the Control Room
2: Regret I guess, nothing really stood out for me.
3: The Covenant
ODST: Data Hive
Reach: The Pillar of Autumn
4: Composer because it’s all Covenant, otherwise Midnight (god I love the music)
5: The Breaking

For CE, my favorite one was when you encounter the flood for the first time. Real spooky back then (still a little spooky today :()
Halo 2 I really liked the one where you start out in a scorpion.
Halo 3, I can’t decide on between the one where you destroy the scarab for the first time (yes I know you technically destroyed one in halo 2 but im talking about actually damaging it…), the one where you’re on the ark, or the last one
Reach, My favorite one here is probably the one where you ride into battle with a warthog and are forced to jump a destroyed bridge
4, mammoth one was cool i guess but i didn’t like waiting on it
5, not really sure about this one either… maybe the one where you
save the chief?it also has my favorite quote of halo 5… (also part of the spoiler)
CE: Truth and Reconciliation
2: Regret
3: The Ark and the Covenant.
ODST: The street Sections or Kizingo blvd.
Reach: exodus
4: Composer
Halo CE: Two Betrayals(Amazing music, awesome story line, and exhilarating moments, especially when the flood and covenant are fighting)
Halo 2: Uprising(First off Arbiter is an amazing character, second off the story line for that level was amazing, building up an army of elites and grunts made the level feel special, the music also fit the level)
Halo 3:(I didnt really play much H3 but the most memorable one for me is The Ark, I liked the environment in that map and it also had a more realistic warzone occurring compared to previous halo games)
Halo 4:(Infinity was the best in H4 but no where near as memorable as any other Halo levels, the jungle theme was pretty cool…I guess)
Halo 5: (Swords of Sanghellios was pretty awe inspiring map, I liked how they portrayed the elite home world and that map was the most fun and diverse in my opinionI .)
H1 and H2 campaign was the best, everything was to quality in those.

That’s my favorite quote too. It really makes me connect with Locke and made me like him as a character. I thought it was very noble how is faith in Chief never really wavered and his mission to bring him home wasn’t personal he was just following orders and how he was willing to give his life to save the Chief.

awkward… I was talking about exuberant witness saying “I HAVE CONTROL AGAIN!” but that’s a nice quote too 
Especially when you put it that way.
Composer is hands down my favorite mission in Halo. I love the cutscenes that bookend it, the voice acting from Dr. Tilson, the easter eggs, and all Covenant encounters make for an awesome level.

Am I literally the only person in the world that likes The Library? Such a brutal, scary level with some really interesting interactions with 343 Guilty Spark! Also, it’s hellish on Legendary Co-op!

I liked that mission, it was a challenge to complete, but it was fun all the way through.

Favorite halo mission in general is Metropolis in halo 2A. There was crossing the bridge with the tank and jumping onto the scarab all while playing that awesome halo music.
