Best Gametype for Plasma Pistol Kills?

been a pain in the butt so far. everyone uses a rifle and grenades so its hard to close the gap or kill them quick enough. any suggestions?

I’d say Regicide and Dominion. If you were in the lead, you can gain OV and bust out the Plasma Pistol after weakening them. Dominion on the other hand, is a bit easier. When you see the enemy spartan capturing your base, run up to him and melee him then shoot him. That’s really the best I can offer of advice.

The only way I can think of is to get enough friends to fill the Regicide Max party limit, and tell everyone to only use plasma pistols.

It isn’t boosting if players are all activly playing the game and getting kills. It is allowed.

Other than that, good luck getting the plasma pistol commendation. You definitely need it.

Wait for Action Sack to include the “Paintball” game type. That is one-shot plasma pistol kills anywhere.

It’s what I’m waiting and hoping for.

Same with Boltshot. I NEVER use that weapon. But if a paintball like gametype were used with the Boltshot, I’d play the heck out of it until I got the commendation completed.

I did the same with Binary Slayer. As well when Action Sack first came out, I was able to complete several of the power weapon commendations in that playlist until 343 changed it.

So, unless you don’t at all care about K/D (which I don’t), then wait. There should be a playlist for plasma pistols. Hopefully soon.

I never thought to melee someone FIRST then PP them. yeah, K/D don’t mean a thing to me. I remember a gametype in Halo 2 that was beat downs and plasma pistol only.

I like to do weapon grinds but I’m dreading pp and boltshot. It’s not enough for me just to get the commo, I need to do it slayer. It’s a personal choice but anyway you slice it, it’s still a hard commo to get. Your k/d is definitely going to suffer. Something someone with a 2 k/d ratio and 10000 dmr kills and nothing else might find hard to understand. Good luck in your quest!
