Best game in past 5 years

2011 only. If you put a game that came before 2011 then you’re an idiot. With that said a Skyrim was mine

Leaving aside all Halos - Portal 2.

Borderlands 2

Mass Effect 2.

Excluding Indie Games, of which the competition is just too great for me to pick only one (and of which most people probably haven’t heard of anyways), I’d have to go with Borderlands 2.

Borderlands 2 was a very well executed game that gave a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnating market. Unique mechanics and art style, great humor and plot.

My favourite would probably be Star Wars Battlefront

Borderlands 2 without a doubt, excellent story and awesome multiplayer.
Not many memorable characters besides Handsome Jack though, but I absolutely love Axton and Gaige.

I’m sorry if I’m being annoying but…Isn’t Mass Effect 2 a game launched on 2010?

Tiny Tina, Sir Hammerlock, Mad Moxie, Butt Stallion, Kreig, they are all memorable!!! My case is actually signed by the voice actors of Mad Moxie and Sir Hammerlock.

Skyrim. Hands down. As good as Halo is, I sincerely think Skyrim may be the best video game yet, period… but I am a fantasy nerd, so what do I know?

You forgot the most bada.ss man of the whole trilogy,Mr Torgue and his EXPLOSIONS !!!
ok,you are right. They definitely are memorable characters,it’s just that I was talking about the main characters you know, not the secondary ones.
the only problem with Borderlands 2 is that the secondary characters are almost always so charismatic and lovely, while the playable characters are usually so silent and boring that the only thing that is really immersive about them are the Echo logs and some of their battle quotes.
I guess that the addition of talkative protagonists was the best thing that Gearbox actually did a great job on Borderlands The Pre Sequel
and I truly hope that we will see more immersive protagonists on future titles of the franchise.

I guess you have a point with the playable characters. I suppose that is why I love Kreig. Before he came out in the game, they released this trailer of him that was hilarious and awesome. I love everything about Borderlands and the story and the crazy characters. It is just the most perfect game ever. I still need to finish Borderlands Pre-Sequel. We got it but at the time were still playing Destiny. Then no time for video games because we moved and started new jobs and what not. Then we got Halo 5 and ESO and kind of forgot about other games we still needed to play. Plus I really wanted to play through all of Borderlands 2 with him since he had only played 1. But that was hard since I had already played it like 3 different times to play with everyone. Haha I was just ready to move on to Pre-Sequel.

im going with skyrim

Aside from Halo games, Skyrim. First two Arkham games right behind.

Destiny ~Said by no one ever.

Super Smash Brothers 4

Dang, Reach is 6 years into the past now isn’t it? Anyways, Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, Portal 2 were all great fun.

Skyrim was amazing and I put waaaay too many hours into it. But that doesnt compare to how much I played, and still play Gears of War 3.

If remakes count, Majora’s Mask 3D is also up on my list. Zelda is the only series I love more than Halo.

Sod it. Mass Effect 3 then, pretty good minus the ending.

The FALLOUT of de 4 (Fallout 4)

Wolfenstein: The New Order.

I love that game.
