In Halo 4, the best way to get EXP is by playing Spartan Ops matchmaking and getting at least ten kills. I saw a video on this from a popular speedrunner called “Nak3d Eli”, so just know I didn’t discover this. However, he said you need at least five kills, but I’ve tested that (not by sucking at the game) and it’s around ten. Of course, I usually don’t do this because of Spartan Ops matchmaking lag, and Spartan Ops isn’t as fun as regular War Games.
This has been well known since launch and was abused by many players during the first few months of the game. They used Mountain Dew double XP codes while playing Spartan Ops to get upwards of around 17k XP each game by playing Ep3 Ch5 (Shootout in Valhalla) repeatedly to rank up fast.
It’s already too easy to gain XP, why do it even faster than you have to?
I used the Double Dew XP at the time, but never boosted Fire Fight. All you have to do is just keep playing online and you’ll get it eventually.
so how much xp do u usually get while doing that mission like 7k or higher without any xp boost or anything
Oh. Go on Spartan Ops matchmaking, get 10 kills and you get loads of EXP? Sounds fair. I’ll try this!
I usually don’t use it unless I’m at the last few thousand XP

Until you get to the last two ranks of a specialization…
Spartan ops, Griffball, and Flood. Helps when you get the fastrack perk through pioneer.
Pioneer is excellent in Spartan Ops.

Heroic ~5000 EXP (w/ Pioneer ~7000 EXP)
Legendary ~7000 EXP (w/ Pioneer ~9000 EXP)
Landgrab matches can go anywhere from 12-24 min per match.
Halo is awesome
