Best customization?

So which is best? Just want to see the favorites in progress to see how far we’ve come.

Also, feel free to explain your choice, I want to see what it is about the armories that people like and why, maybe give some insight as to why halo 5 is getting so much heat.

I love halo reach and halo 4 armor customization a lot but I am also looking forward to halo 5 I believe it will have a lot of armor sets vs small customizations and I am ok with that a lot of the armor I have already seen I like a lot and would be fine just wearing the set really excited for Bucks armor and lockes

Halo Reach, it built upon what we had.

I would like it to have as much customizations from Reach & 4 plus be able to play as a Elite, that would make me very happy indeed.

I have to agree with you.

I think Halo Reach had some of the best customization in terms of individuality and swapping parts. But several armor parts looked a bit awkward, like the mark V. so far I think Halo 5 has the best looking actual armor sets out of any Halo…examples :Athlon, Recruit, remastered VI, Centurion, etc…all of the sets shown so far look gorgeous.

Tbh neither of them. In the end all we can see is red or blue so everything seems trivial to me. I never felt badass or satisfied with my spartan, i would love to see more visible items on the armor, like capes and such.

Halo 5 will have weapons and vehicle skins, thats important to me. I remember how happy i was to get Gold weapons in MW1.

I liked the system in Halo 4 the best, very simple and straightforward, not to mention you didn’t have to pay for the armor pieces as you did in Reach (i hated that), but i liked the actual armor pieces from Reach the most. I liked the gritty, beat-up look they had.

Reach had some nice armor pieces, but it was grind heavy and eventually only 2 items were worth unlocking, the shoulder cape and the confetti armor effect.

Halo Reach

Reach, the Elite sets were great! Even if Halo 3 had more customizing.

Reach. It had the most depth, unlike 343 gutting another old favorite system…

Reach had the most appealing armor pieces to choose from. Too bad we couldn’t mix and match Elite armor like in Halo 3.

Luckily at least one of the sets from Reach is going to be in Halo 5, I think the commando suit is returning. It looks a tad different, kind of remastered but it has a nice look overall. I wouldn’t mind seeing the EOD and CQC and EVA sneak into Halo 5 either.

Reach had some awesome additions to customization but I have to give first place to halo 4.
The armor looked pretty cool and you had so many options.
Hopefully Halo 5’s customization isn’t as bland as it seems to be.

Halo Reach. I didn’t necessarily like all the addons, but it gave a good selection of armors

Reach and 4 were both the pinnacle IMO. I loved changing every possible aspect in 4, but Reach had more down-to-earth selections and everything looked a lot less anime-y.
Plus voices for firefight? Hell yissss.

Sadly, the selection felt bare-bones in Halo 5 with fewer categories to edit than 4.

How can I judge a game that hasn’t come out against games that came out years ago? I refuse to vote.
