Anyone know what their sens or controls are? I use bumper jumper with sens of 2 and accel of 5. I want to get better so this is why im asking.
It’s all about your playstyle. If you’re very aggressive and don’t mind throwing yourself into a tight space full of enemies, higher sensitivities work well. If you’re the more cautious type who fights from a distance, lower sensitivities would be your thing.
I play on max sensitivity all the time in any playlist. Close quarters and Infection are a total adrenaline rush, but I rarely have trouble when it comes to sniping.

I think Helljumper is better than Bumperjumper because it is a lot easier to aim with Helljumper (left trigger).
Also, when it comes to sensitivity, I think you should look at your accuracy rates at the end of matches. If they are low, your sensitivity is probably too high. But since you play on sens 2, I wouldn’t go any lower.
Aim acceleration is personal preferece and doesn’t affect aim (only turn speed). Default aim acceleration in Halo 5 is 3, I believe. Older Halo games had 2 for aim acceleration.
Other things you should check are deadzones. Go into a custom game on your own and set both deadzones to 0%. If you don’t have drift, your inner deadzone is fine. If not, increase it slightly and see where the drift stops. When it comes to outer deadzones, it is important you’re able to make fast turns when you have your tumbsticks completely to the left or right. If that is not possible, you should increase your outer deadzone. There are plenty of Youtube video’s that explain that in more detail.

I usually get 45- 60 for accuracy and deadzones are at zero

100% agree. Absolutely love Helljumper.
My button layout settings are Recon due to me playing lots of Halo 3 when I was younger, sensitivity are 3 (default) and all deadzones are set to 0 .
I use Bumper Jumper simply because I play MCC a lot and it would be hell to constantly switch between Bumper Jumper and Helljumper. Sens is 4, acceleration is 5, inner deadzone is 0, outer deadzone is 10, assassinations off.
BTW, I love how 343i made aiming for H5. Take H3 for example. Huge square deadzones, weird non-linear aiming, the reticle either moves too slow or too fast. In H5 on the other hand aiming is very fluid, snapshotting without aim assist feels easy.
I play default with sensitivity both at 4. I’m not the best player but I’m not too bad.
