What is the best controller settings or controller settings that work the best for you? (Including sensitivity)

Probably about a couple of months, my old setup was 5.5 and 7 acceleration so it just felt a little quicker

I’ve always used Recon, but for the life of me cannot remember my sensitivity settings. Probably something low because I couldn’t aim.
I use the H4 setting on H5 and use a 2.5 horizontal 3.5 vertical 5 acceleration and 0% dead zones. It’s not the quickest sens out there but I also rarely miss.
I play hold to clamber, hold to crouch, vibration off, and manual stabilise. These settings allow me to have the most freedom when playing, assists me with trick/spring jumps, and honestly gives me more options in most situations. The vibration is fine for campaign - but it just isn’t needed for pvp. It just adds a distracting element to the game.
Mouse and keyboard is the best 
but in all seriousness, bumper jumper is best

SOML! I’ve tried to increase to 4/5 but sometimes I just -Yoink!-, and then I get frustrated when I do bad so I change it back to 2 and then after changing so many times I suck with 2😂 I have no idea what to do.

Recon controls across all games with pretty low sensitivity. My only down side is responding to enemies directly behind me but I’ve had quite a lot of success with those settings.

If you play COD then you should be already used to it. And I rock 1 sens, 5 acc on Halo 5. And 3, 3, 4 on MCC
I actually have not seen or optimised my settings in MCC XD.
I use recon with default sens for halo 5 and I don’t change my settings for mcc

I tried it and I like it way better! The only thing that throws me off is when I go to melee sometime I turn too sharp and miss since it’s with the right stick 
I have always gotten used to using bumper jumper since the Halo 3 days. sens at 6-7 depending on which game in MCC. I mainly play swat, so jumping and being able to control the thumbstick to look around at the same time is a big help to get the kills.

Ah, that’s never happened to me.
That depends on what xbox controller you are using and what your playstyle is also some people prefer low sensitivty over High.
Most my life I used green thumb with 3 sensitivity, but now I’ve used zoom and shoot with a four sensitivity for the past year.
I use standard default controls for all of the Halo games except Halo 5 I really don’t remember what control option I used for Halo 5 but when I start playing a Halo game I start at 4 or 5 sensitivity any lower and it feels too sluggish for me and when I get comfortable with the current setting I up the sensitivity I’m on 7 sensitivity right know and I eventually would like to work my way up to 10 but I guess I’ll see if I do are not when Infinite launches and I finally get to play I’m probably gonna start at 4 or 5 then work my way up as I get comfortable with the controls
