As of today Best Buy has put up an exclusive master chief statue + steelbook + Infinite preorder live for $105 altogether. I ended up pre-ordering just in case this is the “collectors edition” of the game. However, if this is the case, that would really be a disappointment, given that the statue releases Nov. 10th and the game releases sometime in 2021. Anyone have any thoughts about what is going on? I personally think this is just best buy’s own exclusive thing, and we’ll get a Microsoft proper CE at some point towards release.
Regardless, this stuff is giving me a headache lol.
This might not be the collector’s edition because you can buy them separately. However, if there ends up being no collector’s edition at all, this is the closest we’ll get. That statue looks really good, though!

I doubt there wont be different editions once the game is announced. this states its a best buy exclusive (similar to their funko pop figure). I’m still holding my money until something official is announced.
I believe its just a standard copy in a steel book. Just like Doom Eternal, there was a pricey special edition with goodies and a Mondo steel book. There was also another variant steel book that some retailers sold, and that’s what I think this is.

I always thought it should be that way. the more money shelled out for each edition goes up. The higher editions should include everything in the lower editions IE: buying the console edition includes the collectors edition stuff plus the console. IDK maybe im crazy or something
I just saw that at Amazon you can pre-order Halo Infinite - Xbox Series X Standard Edition and it says: “This item will be released on December 31, 2021.”
