I pre-ordered the game at best buy and got my code, which i redeemed. I received the armor and long shot assault rifle but I didn’t get the skin.
It’s a widespread issue with DLC right now. Both preorder bonus and REQ Packs aren’t appearing at all for several players. 343 is investigating, but haven’t said much on the matter. Also, how and when did you receive your BestBuy code? They told me it would be emailed to me, but it’s been almost 48 hours and still nothing.
I gave them my email when i picked it up, the code is also printed on the receipt. The email was in my inbox when i got home about 15 minutes later.
I got the collectors edition and i never got my codes and apparently the limited edition code rather than the collectors edition. Had to fight on the phone for the physical copy for 2 hours until they finally just sent it to me. Now i still need my DLC!

Follow the instructions in the following link. You’ll receive an email sometime today or tomorrow.
I didn’t get my code on my receipt, even though it was an in-store pre-order and did not get an email right away like other people. I’d suggest not redeeming it now givien the issues with REQ packs. I did without being aware of all this and did not get the Steel Skin for my AR either after opening the REQ pack in-game.

Pretty sure you can get it through a req pack now.
