So it kind of sucks that I won’t be able to get Halo 4 at midnight when it launches. I went to my local Best Buy here in Flagstaff, Arizona to ask an employee if they are having a Halo 4 midnight release and responds that the midnight release was cancelled for Halo 4. I was bummed about that but having to wait till tomorrow morning wasn’t that big of a deal for me.
Until he responded with, yeah we needed to cancel so we could have the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 midnight release instead. Now I didn’t want to come off as a jerk in front of him because he was just doing his job but why cancel Halo 4 for Black Ops 2? They release a week away from each other so why not have both of them?
Oh well, I won’t let it get me down. It will just suck receiving text messages from my best friend back East who will rub it in my face that he’s playing it all night long.

> Maybe they don’t want to have to pay staff overtime twice in 1 week. or there could be certain state laws/restrictions
With Best Buy being a big box store, this is unlikely. If hours for employee was the reason, the only logical reasoning would be understaffed. That being said, maybe that particular BB didn’t get the amount of pre-orders need to do a midnight release. It happens.

Wow really? Yeah that’s gonna turn a lot of people away from the game of HALO. And there should be another couple hundred threads about this. Go there and whine about it. Cod plus some “ranking system” < anything halo. (Oh yes we’re on a halo forum)
