I’m currently using Bumper Jumper, but having to hit “X” to use any AA makes it difficult to use them. So I’m asking the community, what do you think is the best button layout to get the most out of your armor ability? Also, a comment on your choice explaining why would be much appreciated. Thank you.
im using fishstick and no im not a cod fanboy i played them all from MW2-MW3 for like a week or 2 and returned it.
the only problems i have with it are jetpacks, but youll get used to it.
I’m going to say it’s probably Default as that’s what the developers reccommend.
I find Recon layout being used with the Razer Onza to be the best combination.

Are you forgetting that sprint, Promethean Vision, and Active Camo are toggled? Regeneration field and the thruster pack you just push once to use as well. The only ones that you should have difficulty using are the jetpack and the Hardlight shield and maybe the turret if you even use it.
No. I just want the best all around, toggled or not.
Bumper Jumper is the best for me. However, you cannot say which button layout is the best for armor abilities. It depends on how he/she plays the game with their preferable button layout.
I use a scuf controller with x and b paddles underneath the controller. I use bumper jumper for the button layout.
this means the ONLY times i need to take my thumb off the aim stick is to switch weapons and to initiate sprint.

i recommend a scuf controller big time.
I like using green thumb for armor ability use.
