I have high hopes. With the route H4 is going I believe it will have the best BTB yet and we’ll see this playlist more populated than ever. As the game evolves to one that is more casual oriented I definitely see BTB growing in popularity.
With the new weapons and vehicles, BTB will definitely be interesting. I hope they reveal some more big maps in the future. So far though, longbow looks like an awesome BTB map.

The footage we have seen so far looks promising. Gameplay on longbow has already shown us how much of a tank the warthog is.

There may be some AA that obliterates vehicles (not talking about Hardlight Shield) or a loadout weapon that can destroy light vehicles easily (not talking about DMR).
@vvdp:
If you’er being sarcastic, we already know that the hardlight shield can’t destroy vehicles and bullets don’t wreck vehicles as much as Reach. If your talking about unrevealed weapons and armor abilities, you may have a point, but I highly doubt they would would create something completely OP.

BTB.net would like a word with you, kid.

I don’t know I was mocking your post a little about that part “As the game evolves to one that is more casual oriented I definitely see BTB growing in popularity.”
My experience with H3/Reach tell me there will be no difference at all since casual are all over the place in any given playlist already and I don’t care because they are so easy to kill.

-Everyone starting off with sprint
-New and improved AA’s
-Largest assortment of weapons yet
-Changes to vehicles
-New maps
and just the overall factor that this game is being made by 343 instead of bungie is reason enough for me to believe there will definitely be a difference from past Halo games.
I’m a bit worried about the DMR being dominant since it has less bloom and spawning with Plasma Pistols and Grenades as well. Other than those things, it looks amazing.
I don’t see that happen. Yeah, BTB is one of the more popular playlist. But it won’t change anything.
I hope they bring something new to BTB (can’t provide a link but I think 343 said that Longbow [BTB map btw] is designed for a new game mode they release in Halo 4).
Also game mode and map based around UNSC Mammoths would be nice and fresh.
Can someone post the BTB footage?
