Belated flight feedback

Everything ran great, just one or two things I’d like to see addressed -

  • Sidekick is great - though in it’s current iteration aiming at range is super inconsistent especially when combined with bloom. This wouldn’t be an issue without other weapons on the map - but with most maps there’s one precision weapon at spawn, which means three players each side are at a disadvantage vs the people with a Commando or BR off the start. I think a test without bloom on the sidekick, a fixed rate of fire and maybe upping the perfect kill to 8 shots would be better. That way you can still be at a disadvantage vs BR and commando in terms of kill time - but aren’t relying on RNG to hit your shots in time against those weapons. Specifically at range it doesn’t feel rewarding and that will likely result in slowing games down, with many people waiting on spawns for the BR/Commando if unchanged. (saw enough people doing this against bots, let alone vs other people). - I like the wealth of options available for the controls, but it took me forever to get my controls right. Like the good part of an hour messing with them to make it feel like my usual halo controls. A non-issue for me now but I think the console community as a whole would benefit from a ‘basic’ controls/sensitivity interface, with the option for advanced should they want to tweak it. It’s hard to gauge what settings individuals would want as a default but there’s been some consistency up until now with relative sensitivity options across the Halo titles. I feel like this is part of the reason people had an issue aiming, not just the reduced aim assist. - Spartan introductions at the start of games are pretty lengthy cracks robot hand knuckles, if they could all be done at once instead of individually I imagine it would collectively shave off hours of time weekly. (Seems to be 20 seconds for map intro + spartan intros, not a lot but it adds up.)Just my thoughts, other than that it’s really enjoyable. Good stuff 343.
