So I recently seen a post about breaking out of an assassination or being one’s own ‘Showstopper’ if you will and I have video proof from my time playing that this is indeed possible with a well placed Pulse Grenade. You can see what I mean here (Click Meh!)
My instance in the video that I provided the link to was a pure accident as I was essentially glitched into being assassinated, but the pulse grenade I threw a second beforehand had a radius big enough to hit my opponent, but not me. You’ll see in the video my opponent hit me from the front, which should have never triggered an assassination like it did, but my pulse grenade corrected the game’s wrong

So if you know how to use Splinter Grenades well enough, you can use them to get out of assassinations or be one’s own showstopper if you’re fast or creative enough. This is a more legit method than the an interruption of the animation from a cliff or incline, or the game lagging out and undoing it.
