I have a question that one of my co-workers posed to me, and I didn’t have an answer so I thought I’d plumb the Community’s collective intellect.
When Halo 4 is released, does anybody have any info on whether or not 343i will continue the Legendary, Limited, and Regular editions of the game?
I loved gettin the Legendary & Limited Editions of Halo: Reach, Halo 3, and the Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 2.
Has anyone heard if this trend will be continued?

You will probably see another Xbox dedicated to the master chief. A new gen with wireless, definitely halo controllers/mics and all the jazz like when reach/h3 came out.
I personally would love to see a legendary edition too.
I agree, and I’ll admit that by my OP, I’m a sucker for the “special” editions as well.
I also agree that it’s all but guaranteed that they will have a couple different Editions of the game, but no one has heard anything concrete yet have they?
I got some weird looks walking out of Game stop with the legendary edition and the console… I wonder how much you could trade in an xbox for in case there is a REALLY and i mean REALLY nice new H4 Xbox. (trying to spend money wisely now, so i probably wont get it either way but ill definately get the Legendary eddition)
The only thing that I think sucks about the Halo themed consoles is the fact that I already have a 360, and therefore don’t need the new one at full price, despite it’s very awesome Halo theme. However, I do enjoy the other accessories that come out (themed controllers, headsets, etc).
On topic though, I can’t imagine they wouldn’t continue the multiple editions tradition at this point.
Nothing concrete yet, once they do… you will see the forums flood with them and or opinions about them.

I understand your plight BenjaminBlood, though I often wait to pre-order after the Legendary edition is announced (just so I can make sure I want it). However, doesn’t your Gamestop let you upgrade your orders if you chose to do so?
