Ok so recently I’ve been hearing of a multiplayer issue bogging down players and making playing online impossible. I sort of have that issue but it doesn’t sound like its a server connection issue. I end up finding a game and get right to it loading with the UNSC eagle loading screen going then it gives a slight freeze, begins, screen goes black, then I’m pushed right to the halo 4 start menu and have to choose to go into war games again. Then it seems that sometimes when I try to join a game again I can’t connect at all so I checked my custom games to see if I could and it says I’m missing not 1 but all of the maps downloaded from the second disc which might I add has been downloaded twice, first when I tried and had to erase the data and the second time to get me where I am now. I have gotten to play some multiplayer before I was taken into this situation again but now it seems to be happening more frequently and I’m curious if anyone knows why or has this same issue so I’m not alone.
To sum it up, is anyone randomly missing maps or getting booted to the start menu before a game loads?
Yeap, same issue buddy, even occasionally getting booted from campaign which leads me to believe it’s not a server issue…
Occasionally I can play a matchmaking match however 9 times out of 10 it’ll begin to load, then take me back to the start menu, not happy.
I can’t even play campaign it just says the disc is unreadable yet spartan ops worked fine. Multiplayer however with war games is never working.
this needs to be fixed! there not even bringing this issue up! 343 people actually like to play halo with friends -Yoink!-!
It’s stupid because I can’t pinpoint the problem as it’s intermittent…
If anyone knows a fix, reason or anything then let me know…
I’m having this problem as well.
At first it was Spartan OPS, I found a ‘fix’, which required deleting the disk two thing in the harddrive and reinstalling it, but doing this also deletes your weapon and armor ability layouts, so write that -Yoink- down.
When I did, it made this stop for Spartan OPS but now it’s doing it about 1 out of every 2 or 3 games on War Games.
Deleting and reinstalling it again may help but I haven’t tried yet, since it hasn’t bothered me.
Same issue here, just got my own copy and it’s doing the whole “Boot to Start” thing every, oh, 1/5 matches. Also, rally points in campaign and some missions straight up won’t load, saying the disk is “unreadable”. Funny, you were just reading it before, Xbox…any ideas?
I’m having the same problem too. Now it’s freezing during the UNSC pixel-loading display. Really sucks not being able to play. Any idea how to fix this. E only difference. Is that I loaded it off the “cloud” and not the disc
