being able to send each other reqs

Hey. Ever wanted an ONI Wasp, Halo 2 Beam Rifle, or a Speed Boost but have trouble getting them in REQs?
Who votes that we should be able to “Gift” eachother weapons and vehicles that we have more then enough of but they don’t?

Let me know your ideas

Welcome to halo 5, we have been asking for this and wondering why it’s not thing since day one. My only thought behind not having it is 343 and microsoft wanted us forced to use the req system and spend cash to receive items you want. Plus according to them we don’t have friends who could play with us.

I’ve got a buck ton of weapons and vehicles I don’t use. Giving them to someone else would be more better and fulfilling then “selling” the reqs “back” to the store

The only reason I can think if it not being in the game is that it would get heavily abused. Take the CS:GO gambling site scandal from a few months ago is a great example of this. I know its not a perfect parallel, but you get the idea.

This breaks the capitalism rule. 343 want to make money off the req packs, giving each other what one needs bypasses this money making scheme. It’s too good.

We don’t have one because it’s the first thing to get abused and abused heavily.

343i even said something along those lines when they made Gold packs giftable only by money.

"We know players who have amassed massive stockpiles of RP would love nothing more than to help spread that love amongst their friends but after reviews with the Xbox Live Enforcement Team, studying examples of similar systems in the wild and consulting a variety of experts, concerns over a multitude of potential scams and exploits led to the decision to limit this new feature to real-money transactions only. Further, Gold Pack Gifting is only available to players once they’ve reached Spartan Rank 5 or greater in Halo 5: Guardians."It’s a huge recipe for disaster if not handled correctly, and pretty much breaks their whole microtransaction system.

An easy one is that a player with a bunch of REQ points can just feed REQs to other accounts, and now everyone has a bunch of REQs.

Or you’ll have people trading commons for mythics, or vice versa.

Anyone want some of my hundreds of Rocket Launchers? Don’t worry, I have over 200,000 REQ points, I can get a hundred more and give those away. Oh and there are dozens upon dozens of people like me sitting on a pile of REQ points. Oops, now everyone has a bunch of Rocket Launchers.

I think is kinda cool to send any type of pack’s to friends like golden, silver and bronze

I’m not talking about packs. But after collecting a certain amount of a req (say 20+ Closed Fists) you are able to send (one or more closed fists) to a friend or a fire-team member, then that friend or fire-team member will be able to use that (closed fist) for a single round or keep it for another time and date. And say after the first trade or perhaps even the tenth you get an achievement about “selling arms”.

Fair trade, than yes.

Like common for common is equal.
(Example: 1 mythic = 1.5 legendary 3 ultra 5 rare 7 uncommon and 9 common)

As long as you can’t give a bunch free.

Sure. Common for Common and all that Jazz.

JAZZZZ HANDSS

easy go into WZ get the weapon, go to the person and give them the req

but you would be wasting req points on it

Trading Reqs or giving them to friends would be more useful or at least have a way to sell many useless reqs at once because selling them is so tedious. Also to the person who suggested warzone and giving the req physically is wasteful an wouldn’t be o bad if we could directly give them weapons instead of dropping them.

Is this the kind of thing you have in mind?

Yeah, I don’t think it’s that great of an idea. People would abuse it and it would turn into a trading cesspool, much like TF2 or CS:GO.

Because it would cause more trouble than it’s worth. Players would then create a black market for reqs and offer reqs for money or trade and then you would have players either not following through with the trade or players claiming not to have received a gift. Crap like that.
