I wish we were able to kill marines again. This is one of the most fun things to do in previous Halo games. Imagine kitting them out and having them trying to kill you. I just wonder why they took it out. I remember playing Halo 3 on Crow’s Nest with the catch skull on and hiding up the stairs in the first room. Always a good challenge to try and kill everyone in that room on legendary.
Personally I like that I will no longer accidentally kill a friendly. But I understand where you are coming from. Hence they could add a friendly fire toggle on/off option for campaign in the ingame settings.
Just air drop a vehicle on them.
It’s still possible to kill friendlies. However, the process is much more difficult compared to previous Halo titles either due to increased marine health or reduced player damage against the marines.
Something else that should be noted is that the Marines are also highly resistant to damage and the Banished forces do usually have a hard time killing the Marines in the missions.
I fired an unlimited amount of sniper rounds into a marine’s face. Only way to kill them is splattering.
That is certainly impossible as only a finite amount of shots can be fired in a finite amount of time.
Try the bandana skull. Unlimited ammo.
Even if you have an unlimited amount of ammo, it’s still not possible to fire an unlimited amount of shots in finite amount of time. The maximum amount of shots that could be fired against a Marine is the largest possible number of shots that could be fired with the weapon that has the largest ammo supply if the weapon got used continuously since the campaign got released.
If we assume that the weapon with the largest fire rate could fire 10 shots/second, then it would only be possible to fire approximately 10 million shots since December 8th which is less than infinity.
This would make sense if their health regen was faster that your shots per second and if I set a time limit. Any other Halo game, one sniper to the head kills a marine. These, can’t do it.
Totally. Makes you more careful where you shoot. Makes it feel more realistic
I hate betraying marines by accident. Very happy friendly fire is now off.
I hated accidentally doing it too,but when you want to do it intentionally it sucks.
They took it out cuz it’s T and had a F2P multiplayer. Same reason there’s almost no blood in the game.
